All articles published in Acta Odontologica Latinoamericana are made freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication, without subscription charges or registration barriers.
Article processing charges
In order to publish in Acta Odontologica Latinoamericana, authors of accepted articles are required to pay an article processing charge (APC).
The APC for all published articles is as follows:
- SAIO active members (first or last author): U$S 100.-
SAIO adherent members (first or last author): U$S 150.-SAIO non-members: U$S 300.-
Payment options
Please find the following modes of payment:
- Credit card: this is the preferred payment mechanism. As the article will be accepted, a payment link will be available, and the authors should follow the instructions.
- PayPal: as the article will be accepted, a payment link will also be available and the authors should follow the instructions.

We are not able to process partial payments. All data should be fully completed to avoid potential administrative problems.
